Join CRCBoston and the Brookline Teen Center for an evening with Michael Horn, author of Choosing College. Michael will dispel the myth that the best college for your teen is one ranked highest in the US News and World Report. He’ll share an alternate approach that centers on identifying students’ motivations. Michael will also offer tips about how to support teens with meaningful, productive, values- based conversations throughout the college process.

Shari Becker has worked with students for 20+ years. She sees private clients, teaches at elementary and middle schools, and coordinates large-scale writing retreats with high-calibre authors and editors. As a working writer, she has created and developed original content for Nickelodeon, Disney-owned companies, and an Emmy Award–winning puppeteer.
